Indigo had developed a breakthrough microbial treatment that promised to lead the way of modern agriculture by boosting plant resilience from within. They teamed up with Carbon Five to get the product to market fast and large-scale farmers on board.
As part of another project with Indigo, Carbon Five built an internal tool to optimize their collaboration with researchers at universities.
Carbon Five collaborated with the internal team to architect and build Indigo Insight, a sales tool enabling growers to quickly understand the value that Indigo’s product created on their farms.
In partnership with Indigo’s ag domain specialists and data scientists, Carbon Five designed and developed a tool to analyze rich data sets with visualizations that sales teams could use in the field with growers operating thousands of acres.
The Indigo Insight technology is being rolled out alongside the Indigo Crop Offerings for the next growing season. The company itself has had no shortage of press after raising a whopping $1.B and currently has more than a $3.5B valuation.
Indigo was recently named to CNBC’s “Disruptor 50” as one of the most innovative companies to work for in 2020 and 2021. The company is now expanding its impact outside of the United States by working to improve sustainability within agricultural technology and soil carbon storage in Japan and Asia.
